This post has nothing to do with the bible or religion. As I mentioned in Episode 9, I had the privilege of being featured in the first episode of SURGE, a new podcast my John Passaro, OMGWTFBIBLE’s audio engineer.

That episode, entitled “No Matter What Remains,” is available here. In it, I, backed by music from the Wandering Cellist, share the theories of Dr. Moster, a professor I knew while in college. You’ll have to listen for the rest.

OMGWTFBIBLE’s second show at Double Wide!

I’m happy to announce that Episode 10 will be happening on July 29 (a little late this month due to the fast day and all) at Double Wide!

This month, I’ll be joined by Ariel Abrahams, a brilliant artist, who’s been exploring alternative approaches to Judaism on his own.

We’ll start with Chapter 13, and I guarantee you one thing: THERE WILL BE STEW.

A New Voice

About a month ago, I had a conversation with Catie Damon of New Voices Magazine about the podcast, my upbringing, the mythologies we create, and a not-very-eloquent post I made here a few months ago. New Voices had some very nice things to say about the show:

Each month on this monthly podcast, a guest reads a chapter of the Bible while New York comedian David Tuchman — a former Yeshiva boy turned agnostic — swears, jibes, and elucidates. His line by line explication drops quirky facts and sarcastic commentary. The result is often offensive, consistently hilarious, and surprisingly enlightening.

So check it out! It’s a nice read and in it, I get into some of the more philosophical stuff behind OMGWTFBIBLE that doesn’t make it to the podcast.
