The Only True Pope
That’s it, folks! Time to give up on this podcast. Because there is a pope made of chocolate. There is no reason to practice any religion or to doubt anymore. Because we’ve found it. Chocolate Christianity. The one true faith.
Pretty much every day recently, I am shocked to discover that I still like Pope Francis. Yesterday, he released an Apostolic Exhortation urging the world to reject “the new idolatry of money” and calling on the rich to turn back mounting inequality and help the poor. Cool!

Wow! What a busy week! I’ve been so wrapped up in very exciting secret behind-the-scenes OMGWTFBIBLE things that will make this show even more amazing (and other, more mundane, tasks) that I haven’t found any time to post. That and all the Jewish news this week has been kind of depressing and you can probably read sad things elsewhere. But we have a new Pope! How cute is the new Pope? He’s the cutest possible Pope! JUST LOOK AT THIS POPE!

So the Pope abdicated recently. Apparently, that happened before and it was a whole big mess. Jason Novak and Mike Duncan made a short comic about it all at The Paris Review. It is hilarious and confusing and adorable and wonderful. Check it out!
